Kia ora whanau

Our school begins each day with Taumata including himene, karakia, mihimihi and waiata. Our tamariki have the opportunity to learn and engage in regular kapa haka and to receive basic language instruction as part of our integrated approach to learning. Thanks to Camilla Going and Matua Horihi, our kura has a wonderful Te Ao Maori website that includes: our school karakia, school houses, taumata process, kapa haka songs, and lots of rauemi [resources] that we are using to teach our tamariki.
