Thank you to all parents and caregivers for their support and understanding yesterday. It was uplifting to see all the support for teachers and children across the country. Certainly at our rallies in Paihia and Kerikeri there were lots of supportive hoots and great comments shared. Everyone seems to realise how important this is. My favourite banner seen on the day…‘I AM NOT WALKING OUT ON MY STUDENTS; I AM WALKING FOR THEM!’
